They are arguably the most dominant cross-country teams the state has ever seen. Back-to-back State Championships with a 2-year combined record of 21-2. Their only 2 losses were to the University of Maine. Today the 1963-64 cross-country teams join the ranks of the Old Town Athletic Hall of Fame.

It takes many people behind the scenes working many hours, so our high school athletes are able to compete. This year the hall of fame inducts another worthy individual in the contributor category. Nancy Nahra has spent over 25 years as the official basketball score keeper for both boys and girls. She also spent several years as the scorekeeper for the softball team. Thank you, Nancy, for your contributions and welcome to the hall of fame.

Another 6 names join the roster of Old Town Athletic Hall of Fame members tomorrow. The festivities begin with the social hour at 12:30 followed by the induction ceremony at 1pm in the cefetorium. This event is free and we hope to see lots of friends, family and alumni.

He was the big man in the middle who helped Old Town win the 1991 Class A basketball State Championship, and the 1993 Class A outdoor track State Championship. He was a 2-time All-State selection in both basketball and track, led Franklin Pierce University to 2 NCAA basketball tournament appearances and played professionally in Ireland. Saturday, John L'Heureux becomes the newest inductee to the Old Town Athletic Hall of Fame.

What do you call a 2-time softball state champion, MVP of the college world series regional tournament, multiple conference champion in track and field, who set several school records in high school and college? As a 4-year letter winner he was a beast on the basketball court with multiple postseason awards, and a magician on the mound in baseball with achievements that included conference Player of the Year, a no-hitter, an 8-0 record as a senior and captained the USM baseball team. We are excited to induct Jason Thibodeau '00 into the Old Town Athletic Hall of Fame this Saturday. Admission is free and all are welcomed. Social hour starts at 12:30 followed by the induction ceremony at 1pm in the high school cafe.

She was a 3-sport athlete who helped Old Town Softball win a State Championship as a freshman and was named PVC Player and Pitcher of the Year not once, but TWICE! Saturday Rachel Martin gets inducted into the Old Town Athletic Hall of Fame. The event is open to the public starting with a social hour at 12:30 and the ceremony at 1pm. Come celebrate the legacy left by our new class of inductees.
