🍎 Meet Our New 2nd Grade Teacher! 🍎

We are excited to welcome Ms. Alesandra Maulucci to the Saint John School family as our new Second Grade Teacher!

Ms. Maulucci holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Her experience includes student teaching in third grade, serving as a building substitute, and working as a long-term kindergarten substitute.

As a local community member and parishioner at Saint John Church, Ms. Maulucci is especially excited to give back to the community she calls home. She looks forward to helping her students develop a love of learning, build confidence, and take pride in all they accomplish.

⚽ Fun fact: She grew up playing soccer and was a goalie in high school!
🌊 In her free time, she loves the beach, reading, taking walks, and watching the sunset on the Causeway.

Her favorite Bible verse is a beautiful reminder for our school community: **“Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” — Ephesians 4:29

📚 Meet Mrs. Catherine Tortora! 📚

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Tortora to the Saint John School family as our Middle School Literature and Language Arts Teacher!

With about ten years of experience teaching Literature and Language Arts in grades 5–12, Mrs. Tortora brings a love of reading, writing, and helping students grow. One of her favorite parts of teaching is witnessing the progress and transformation students make throughout the school year.

Mrs. Tortora says she has felt welcomed from the moment she first walked through our doors—and we are so happy she is here! ❤️

🍎 Meet Ms. Taylor Crosby! 📚🔬

We are excited to welcome Ms. Crosby to Saint John School as our Middle School Math & Science Teacher for Grades 6–8!

Ms. Crosby brings a wonderful combination of academic knowledge, tutoring and teaching experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people. She loves discovering the different ways students think, learn, and make sense of the world—and especially enjoys the funny and insightful things they have to say!

Outside the classroom, Ms. Crosby enjoys writing and singing and grew up participating in academic, church, and extracurricular choirs. 🎶✍️

We are excited to share an upcoming production conceived and directed by Mr. John Lampe, Saint John School’s new Band and Schola Director!

The Clinton Family Theatre presents Yours, Anne, along with an evening of readers theatre and special vocal performances, on Friday, September 11 at 7:30 PM at Andrews Memorial Theatre in Clinton.

We encourage our Saint John School families and friends to come out for a wonderful evening of theatre and music—and to support Mr. Lampe and the talented performers who have brought this special production to life!

We are so happy to have Mr. Lampe sharing his love of music and the performing arts with our students this year. 💙🎶

What a beautiful way to begin our first day at Saint John School! 💙🦅

Our students, faculty, staff, and parents gathered together for morning prayer, joined by Father Greg and Father Michael, as we placed this new school year in God’s hands.

As we begin our Year of Hope, we are reminded that every new school year brings new opportunities—to grow in faith, welcome new friends, learn together, and bring hope to one another.

What a wonderful way to kick off a new school year! 🍦💙🦅

We were thrilled to welcome so many Saint John School families to last night’s Meet the Teacher Ice Cream Social. Our campus was filled with smiling faces, excited students, reconnecting friends, and new families becoming part of our SJS community.

As we prepare to open our doors for the first day of school, we are especially grateful for the energy and enthusiasm surrounding Saint John School. This year, as we celebrate our Year of Hope, we look forward with faith and excitement to all that God has in store for our students, faculty, and families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a wonderful success. Now we’re ready for the first day! 🍎📚
