Here's something we don't say often enough: educator well-being matters. πŸ’™
GEER's free learning module, Digital Tools that Support Educator Well-Being, is a thoughtful, practical exploration of how technology - when used intentionally - can reduce stress, simplify routines, and help early childhood educators do their best work without burning out.

You'll reflect on:
βœ… Which digital tools are truly making your work easier - and which ones aren't
βœ… How cognitive load affects your daily work experience
βœ… Simple habits like batching emails, turning off notifications, and using shared calendars
βœ… How AI tools can reduce repetitive tasks without replacing your expertise
βœ… One small, realistic action step you can try right away

Technology should work for you - not the other way around. Explore the module today and give yourself permission to simplify. https://tinyurl.com/buildingpractice

Today's partial solar eclipse had our LEARN staff looking up (safely) to catch a glimpse of the Sun and Moon sharing the sky! β˜€οΈπŸŒ‘

Rather than let this rare celestial moment pass by, our team got creative and built their own DIY eclipse viewing box β€” and took turns lining up for a peek throughout the afternoon. Cardboard box, a little foil, a push pin... and suddenly everyone's an astronomer! πŸ“¦πŸ”

No fancy telescopes needed β€” just a homemade pinhole projector and a lot of curiosity (and maybe a little friendly competition for who got the best view πŸ‘€).

⚠️ Friendly reminder: never look directly at the sun without certified eclipse glasses β€” a projector box like this lets you enjoy the eclipse safely from a distance.

Did you catch today's eclipse? Tell us how you watched it! πŸ‘‡
