Join us August 22–23 for the NAEMT Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course in Old Forge.

PHTLS is recognized worldwide as the leading continuing education program for prehospital trauma care. Developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma, this course focuses on critical thinking, rapid assessment, and evidence-based trauma management to improve patient outcomes.

Topics include:
• Physiology of life and death
• Scene and patient assessment
• Hemorrhage control
• Airway management
• Breathing, ventilation, and oxygenation
• Circulation and shock
• Special populations

This Course is a 2 day class.
This class is grant funded so there is no cost to sign up

Class is located at the Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance CORPS.
