Part-time/Full-time child care team member is needed.

We are looking for a person to join our small team! You must be 18 in order to work in this position.

We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, active, and motivated. Someone who enjoys reading childrens' books aloud. We are looking for someone with a calm and caring personality, but also someone who can enforce rules and safety. We want everyone to have fun!

We need someone who feels comfortable teaching our curriculum and can follow and nurture their interests. Everyone here is a teacher. We learn from our children and our children learn from us.

We need a true community member! Our children, parents, staff are all part of a wonderful community and we need someone who is going to feel comfortable in that environment.

Any experience with mudpie making, treasure hunting, bubble blowing, and/or bug catching a plus!

You must be able to work with the children independently, and without supervision.

Its extremely important to be reliable.

We spend a lot of time outdoors; in the snow, in the rain, in the cold, and in the heat. We love to be outside and we need someone who wants to encourage the children's love of outdoor learning. We love to take walks and adventures around Old Chatham.

In the warmer months, we work a lot in our gardens. We always encourage our kids to help w**d, water, and nurture all of our gardens, but sometimes the staff will work independently to make sure we are keeping up with all of the maintenance.

We need someone who knows how to relax, but also knows when to pick up the pace - This is very important! Changing diapers, and cleaning up is part of the job as well.

We have a great group of children ranging in age from toddler to school age, and we are looking for someone that will connect with them; someone truly interested in children.

Must have 2 years of previous work with children - babysitting experience, family's children, etc.

There is no smoking on the property.

Some training required within the first six months. CPR/First Aid required in the first month of start. We pay for all training.

We close when the Chatham School District closes (with the exception of summer.)

Yesterday, we found a praying mantis egg sac in one of our gardens.
This is the second year in a row we have been lucky enough to find one!
