Congratulations and a job well done to our 81 youth females in the fire service attending training yesterday at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy.

A special thank you to our keynote speakers for the day. Second deputy Chief Instructor, Christin Rhine, Lakeview Chief, Heather Santi McNeil, Chief, Jessica Crawley of East Norwich, Fire Department and Chief and First, Vice President of Nassau County Fire Chiefs Council Karen Bendel

What a great winter it has been for realistic training. Ice rescue operations continue this weekend with the NASSAU COUNTY FIRE SERVICE ACADEMY and the Nassau County water rescue advisory committee.. .

Today we had the pleasure of making new friends as we were joined by a contingent of junior firefighters and their advisors from Panama.

We had the pleasure of giving them a tour of our great campus and sharing stories about the fire service in Panama and US
