We can hardly believe it has already been a year since Ms. Angie joined our Goddard School family! Over the last 12 months, she has brought so much joy, energy, and care to our classrooms. Her first year with us has been absolutely wonderful, and we are so lucky to have her on our team.

Over the last nine years, Ms. Janet has truly done it all! From stepping in to help all over the building to making a lasting impact in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, her versatility and dedication are unmatched. Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
