Interested in joining MNU Nursing in Guatemala this December?

Come learn more about our 2026 Nursing Mission Trip at one of our information sessions on Monday, August 24 in the Skills Lab!

11:30 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.
Both sessions will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one.

Our team will serve in community health clinics in Guatemala from December 11–19, 2026. This is an incredible opportunity to use your nursing skills, serve alongside our ministry partners, and experience healthcare in a different cultural setting.

Space is limited, and we will be finalizing our team by September 7.

Already know you want to go? Complete the trip application and submit your $200 deposit to the Cashier’s Office in Lunn to reserve your spot.

A huge thank you to our amazing MNU Nursing clinical instructors for taking the time to join us for orientation! 💙
We are so grateful for the knowledge, experience, encouragement, and care you bring to our students each semester. Clinical education is such an important part of preparing future nurses, and we could not do it without each of you.
Thank you for investing in our students, challenging them to grow, supporting them as they build confidence, and helping them become compassionate and competent nurses. We are incredibly thankful to have you as part of the MNU Nursing team!

Still celebrating this group! 💙🩺

On August 6, we had the chance to celebrate our newest MNU nursing graduates at their pinning ceremony. There were lots of smiles, proud families, a few tears, and plenty of reasons to celebrate!

Pinning is always one of our favorite days because we get to recognize how much these students have accomplished and send them into the nursing profession knowing how proud we are of them.

We have way too many great pictures from the day to share in just one post, so there’s more to come! We’ll be highlighting our award recipients, Sigma inductees, and some of the individual pinning moments over the next several days.

Congratulations, nurses! We can’t wait to see what you do next. 💙

MidAmerica Nazarene University is launching the first Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing program in Kansas, creating an accelerated pathway for individuals with a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field to become registered nurses while earning a master's degree.

🚨 Training for the moments that matter.

During our Code Blue Day, MNU nursing students had the opportunity to learn alongside members of the Olathe Fire Department as they practiced communication, teamwork, and patient care during high-pressure emergency situations.

We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and for the time, expertise, and encouragement OFD provides to our future nurses. Experiences like this help students build the confidence and skills they will need when every second counts. ❤️‍🩹

📣 Clinical Instructor Orientation is tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome our MNU School of Nursing clinical instructors for an informative morning as we prepare for the 2026–2027 academic year.

🎓 Congratulations to our August 2026 ABSN graduates! 🩺❤️💙

Last night, we celebrated their hard work, perseverance, and commitment as they reached this incredible milestone.

Our graduates were encouraged to enter the nursing profession and lead with curiosity, courage, and compassion. These qualities will help them make a meaningful difference in the lives of their patients, families, and communities.
