Thank you to all the MNU Nursing alumni who came home for our Homecoming brunch! It was wonderful to reconnect, share what’s new in the School of Nursing, and show you around the Simulation Lab.

We especially enjoyed celebrating the classes of 2016 and 2021. We’re grateful for the time you spent with us and proud to stay connected with our MNU Nursing family.

There’s something special about coming home. 💙 We loved welcoming our nursing alumni back to MNU for the Homecoming brunch and celebrating our reunion classes together. We loved celebrating the classes of 2016 and 2021, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came home! Thank you to everyone who came home to reconnect, share memories, and spend the morning with us. You’ll always have a place here!

Code Blue simulation with our TBSN seniors! Over the past couple of weeks, students practiced responding to emergencies, communicating under pressure, and working as a team.

A huge thank you to the Olathe Fire Department for sharing your time and expertise with our future nurses. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside you!

We’ll be officially launching our Guatemala fundraiser after Homecoming, but with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days happening now, we wanted to share our Wishlist a little early!

As our MNU School of Nursing team prepares to return to Guatemala this December, we would especially appreciate your prayers. Please pray for our students and faculty, safe travel, wisdom as we serve, meaningful relationships, and for each child and family we will meet.

I spy some MNU grads!! What a fun experience to be a part of!

This we wanted to give a shout-out to the nursing staff at . In conjunction with the doctors, administrators, clinical staff, researchers and others, these superheroes are on the front lines day and night to ensure that the children and families served at the hospital receive top notch care.

As one grandparent of a former patient put it recently in a note to our volunteers, "...the hospital has great individuals who work there, but it’s bigger than that. It is the CULTURE of the facility that makes it special. Despite the severe health challenges of the patients there, the medical staff is surrounded by a support staff committed to making LIFE happen in the face of death and disability. That culture extends to the community of Kansas City, because it could not happen as it does without the generosity of the community in time and gifts." 💙

Thank you to the nurses - and to the entire staff at Children's Mercy. And thank YOU for supporting this event and Children's Mercy, making this level of care possible.

Thank you to the healthcare organizations and recruiters who joined us for Friday’s Nursing Career Fair! Your time and encouragement gave our students a chance to ask questions, discover career paths they hadn’t considered, and make connections that may lead to their first nursing jobs. Several students even left with interviews scheduled!

We were excited to see 198 MNU nursing students attend. Thank you to our students for showing up ready to explore what’s ahead, and to the faculty and staff who helped make the day possible. We’re grateful for a community that invests in future nurses!
