Summit Trail students took part in two seasonal traditions this week.

First, our talented choir sang carols at Crown Center on Wednesday evening. It was a cold evening, but a good crowd gathered around to hear our students perform. Mrs. Owen planned and organized this opportunity for our students. Our students sounded great!

Second, our tuba and euphonium players performed in an Olathe tradition called "Heavy Metal Christmas" on Thursday morning. Students from every secondary school in the district were represented. Mr. Hankey and Mr. Hanneman organized this opportunity for our students. Our own Mr. Hankey directed one of the songs for the whole group. It is a cool, unique tradition!
