🌟 Investing in the next generation of leaders! Congratulations to the "Summer Immersion Experience" for winning this spring’s $15,000 Innovation Grant.

🌟 We’re also thrilled to support Rolling Ridge and Westview Elementary with $10,000 as they begin their exciting "New Chapter" together.

🌺 A huge thank you to Natalie VanLiew, JoAnn C**t, and Debbie Underwood for hosting our Women’s Giving Circle this past Tuesday evening! We had over 100 women come together to collaborate and show their incredible support for Olathe teachers.

🌼 The tables were bright with vibrant spring colors, and a delicious Olive Garden buffet kept everyone fueled and ready to vote on this year's most deserving grants.

🪷 We are so grateful for our gracious hosts and their dedication to the Foundation, our teachers, and our students.

🌺Natalie VanLiew, JoAnn C**t, and Debbie Underwood are our gracious hosts for this spring and also longtime supporters of the Foundation and Women's Giving Circle. We love and appreciate their dedication to our students and staff but especially their passion. This is what they had to say when we asked why giving through this circle matters:

“Our children have benefited from the Olathe school system, and we have seen the extraordinary efforts that staff and teachers make to educate and support their students. Being Sustaining Members of the Women’s Giving Circle is important to us because it allows us to help provide funding for the ‘extra magic’ the Olathe District brings to all areas, such as the high school Low Rider Club, welding equipment for OATC, and the district-wide performance of Frozen.”

🌺Through every season, Claire Reagan has been a dedicated part of the Women’s Giving Circle. Whether supporting our mission or surprising grant winners, sometimes with a child on her hip, she leads with heart.

When asked about what being a part of WGC means to her, she said it best:

"Twice a year, we get to come together to support our public school district with strangers who’ve become friends and friends who’ve become almost family.

Giving in community with others is powerful. I love being in a room with women from all over our Olathe Public Schools, bound by a shared commitment to our kids and educators. I look forward to hearing about each grant applicant and seeing where we land on the funding.

In a world where there is increasing strife, polarization, and uncertainty, generosity and gratitude sooth the soul. Let’s keep growing our circle, so we can grow our impact!"
