MNU's School of Education was awarded the Frank Murray Leadership Recognition for Continuous Improvement and was honored at the Fall 2026 CAEPcon in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Jill Gonzalez-Bravo, associate dean of the School of Education (second from left), accepted the award on behalf of MNU and the School of Education.

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation presented the award, recognizing educator-preparation programs that earned accreditation with no stipulations or areas for improvement. Recipients must demonstrate strong evidence, positive data trends and a commitment to continually strengthening the way future teachers are prepared. MNU was one of 31 educator-preparation providers recognized nationally this year.

Congratulations to the fine team of faculty and administrative staff who lead our School of Education!

Every semester, our students spend a week focused on deepening their relationships with God! Our spiritual life team hosts special chapel services (including a cereal bar) and this year we invited Pastor Shane Lima to join us as a guest speaker. Spiritual formation opportunities like this one are a critical part of what we do at MNU.
