Liberty View Elementary understood the assignment!!! Wow. 👟

Thank you to and for bringing the energy, and to every family who showed up and put in the steps. Healthy habits start with a short walk and a good morning.

Walk to School Day, done right.

🧟 WE NEED YOUR BRAINS! 🧠

Calling all creative LVE families, we need you to host a trunk at Liberty View's FIRST-EVER Trunk or Treat!

Spooky, silly, over-the-top or barely-finished, every trunk counts. If you've got a car and a little imagination, you're exactly who we're after. 🚗🎃

📅 Sunday, October 25
⏰ 4:00–5:30 p.m.
📍 Liberty View parking lot

Hosted by the 5th Grade Farewell Committee and LVE PTO, and every bit of it supports our 5th graders' farewell celebration. 💛

🧟‍♀️ Sign up to host a trunk by October 15:

Get your brains in gear. The horde is coming. 🦅👻

Hey! Hey! Blue! We can't wait to see you!

🚶‍♀️⚽ Walk to School Day just got a VIP.

This Wednesday, October 7, Sporting KC's very own Blue is walking to school with us, and he's bringing the energy.

**Here's the game plan:
📍 Meet at the Symphony Hills Clubhouse parking lot
🕗 Arrive by 8:10 AM. We step off at 8:15 AM sharp.
💙 Wear your Sporting KC or LVE spirit wear

Blue's sticking around after the walk to visit some classrooms too. Mascot stamina is no joke.

**A few quick notes:**
• This is NOT a drop-off event. Parents/guardians must walk with their students.
• Feet only! No bikes, scooters, or dogs, so we can keep every walker safe on the way from Symphony Hills to school.
• Media teams will be there, so photos and video may be taken and shared on social media.

Lace up, Eagles. Let's give Blue a crowd worth walking with. 🦅

Eagle Dash: 4th Grade Edition

4th Grade Favorite: slip n slide

To our 4th grade Eagles: you ran the extra lap, then hit the slip 'n slide like it was the finish line. Wet, muddy, and grinning. That's a strong way to end a run.

Thank you for the energy, and thank you to the families who cheered from the sidelines.

Eagle Dash: 2nd Grade Edition

2nd Grade Favorites: Running another lap with their popsicle! Smart.

To our 2nd grade Eagles: you ran hard, and then you found a way to run harder with a popsicle in your hand. Bonus lap, sticky fingers, zero complaints.

That's the Eagle spirit. Thank you for the energy, and thank you to the families who cheered from the sidelines.

Eagles run together. 🦅

Eagle Dash: 3rd Grade Edition

To our 3rd grade Eagles: you brought real speed and real spirit. You paced yourselves, pushed through the tired legs, and cheered each other across the line.

3rd Grade Favorites: balance beam & let’s run again

That's what this school is about. Thank you for making the Eagle Dash one to remember, and thank you to the families who showed up loud.

Eagle Dash: 1st Grade Edition

1st Grade Favorites: Popsicles, and a loose tooth.

To our 1st grade Eagles: you showed up, you ran, and you made it look fun. Some of you sprinted, some of you skipped, and a few of you stopped to wave at your parents. All of it counts.

Every lap was a win. Thank you for bringing the energy, and thank you to the families who cheered from the sidelines.

Eagles run together. 🦅
