Well... we survived week one! 🎨🫧

Here's what we accomplished last week in just three days:
👋 Learning everyone's names (mostly)
🎨 Fingerpainting, which went exactly how you're imagining
🔍 Digging for treasure in the giant sand table (it was reallypompoms)
🚗 Racing toy cars through our made up track in the rocks
🫧 Blowing bubbles roughly the size of a small dog
🧸 Personally testing every toy, indoors and out
✝️ And learning a whole lot about Jesus

By Friday, the first day of school's shy little hellos had turned into full sprints toward friends!🥳

Please help us welcome Ms. Girija to Redeemer Lutheran Preschool!

Ms. Girija joins us as our Mothers' Day Out Teacher Aide, and she'll be greeting some very excited little ones tomorrow morning for the first day of school. She's a mom of two and has been a painter and crafter since childhood, and she brings color, creativity, and a whole lot of warmth to her classroom.🎨

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! So glad you're here, Ms. Girija!✨

What a summer it's been! We've spent it soaking up the sunshine, visiting with our families, and making the kind of memories that only come with warm days. So much laughter, and we've loved every minute!

…but as much as we've enjoyed the slower days of summer, we can't wait for what's next. We are so excited to welcome our students back to Redeemer Lutheran Preschool on Wednesday, August 19!🎒

Every parent of a three-year-old knows: no two of them are the same kid two days in a row. 😄

Ms. Shephali Seth's superpower is meeting every child right where they are today.

A mother of two herself, she brings warmth, patience, and gentle encouragement to our 3s classroom. The shy one gets drawn out slowly. The bold one gets channeled kindly. The one having a hard morning gets exactly the softness they need. And every single one of them feels safe and valued while they figure out this whole "school" thing.

A graduate of The Art Institutes International with more than 10 years of childcare experience, Ms. Emily turns everyday lessons into hands-on adventures — art projects that sneak in fine motor skills, baking that's secretly math and science, and creative play where every child's ideas matter. She ran her own licensed in-home childcare, too, so she knows how to make a room feel like home.

For the kid who thinks in colors and creations, this is their happy place.

Year after year, this community shows up for us, and every year, you leave us humbled. 🙏

The turnout at this year's Annual Garage Sale has filled our hearts, and we are so grateful! Thank you for your kindness and for making this tradition something we look forward to all year long.
