Advent Preschool

Advent Preschool Preschool programs for ages 2 1/2 to 5. In addition, they will learn how to compromise, be respectful of others, and problem-solve.

Our purpose is to provide a quality educational program with a loving and caring Christian atmosphere, in a play-based environment. At Advent Preschool, children will not only be exposed to early-learning instruction, they will also learn how to socialize with peers and teachers, develop listening skills, and participate in positive group interaction. Preschool provides a place where your child can gain a sense of self, explore, play with their peers, and build confidence as they grow.

A new school year is here, and we’re sending BIG hugs and BIG prayers to all of our former Advent Preschool students heading off to “big school!” We hope your year is filled with fun, friendship, learning, and lots of wonderful memories. We will miss your little faces, but excited for all the incredible things you’ll do! 💙🍎

Day 4️⃣ of Summer Fun Camp was Fun with Ice! 🧊 🍦🥶 We talked about all the ways different ice things keep us cool in the summer! We read some great stories, did an experiment to see what melts ice faster- salt, sand, or oil- (salt won!), we watercolored ice, explored two sensory bins, designed and decorated our own popsicles, played inside and outside, and got to enjoy a popsicle at the end of our day!
We had the BEST time at camp this week and we are thankful our friends could join us! Enjoy the rest of the summer ☀️

Day 3️⃣ of Summer Fun Camp was Fun with Bugs! 🐞🐛🐜🪲🕷️🪳🐝🦋
We learned about bugs, and listened to a story to help us compare how insects travel! We painted Bugs in the Grass, explored two sensory bins- kinetic sand and dirt, ran and played outside, read lots of bug books, and had the best time playing with our friends!

Day 2️⃣of Summer Fun Camp was Fun in the Water 💦
We learned about sea creatures, and ways to stay cool in water when it’s hot! We did a rising water science experiment, we finger-painted a water scene with sea creatures, we did a colorful baking soda and vinegar tray, had fun in the water table, enjoyed the shade outside, listened to some fun books on tape, and had a fun time playing and creating with friends!

Day 1️⃣ of Summer Fun Camp was Fun in the Sun ☀️
We learned about the Sun, and ways to protect our bodies when it’s hot! We did a shadow matching game, painted with sunscreen to see if it protects paper like it protects our skin, we enjoyed the Sun outside, made a suncatcher on the window, explored in the sensory sand, and had a fun time playing and creating with friends!
