Make a fall snow globe at home! 🍂

Glue two small sticks inside a mason jar lid, fill the jar halfway with food-safe glycerin, add a few drops of clear glue and some fall-colored glitter, then screw the lid back on and give it a shake!

Save this easy fall craft to try with your little one! 💛

Investing in our people is one of the most important investments we can make. 💛

Monday’s Professional Development Day provided our teachers and staff with dedicated time to learn, collaborate, and strengthen their skills, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to continue making a meaningful impact on children and families every day. We're proud to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning across our organization.

💙✨ Growing Together, Learning Together! ✨ Our Kansas team came together for Professional Development Day, and what a wonderful day of learning, connection, and collaboration! 🌟

We spent time deepening our understanding of Conscious Discipline, exploring ways to strengthen connections with children and support their social-emotional development. We also made time for team bonding, laughter, and celebrating the amazing people who make our schools such special places to learn and grow!

💛 At New Horizon Academy, we believe that when we invest in our educators, we invest in the children and families we serve. Days like these remind us that learning never stops, relationships matter, and we are always better when we grow together. A big thank you to our Kansas team for showing up with open minds, positive energy, and a commitment to continuous improvement! 🌱 Together, we Lead with Purpose! 💙

Today our Kansas leadership team had the opportunity to attend Early Childhood Advocacy Day at the Kansas State Capitol. 🏛️✨

We were proud to stand alongside fellow early childhood leaders to advocate for policies that support children, families, and the dedicated professionals who make quality childcare possible every day.

Access to safe, high-quality early education is not just a family issue, it is workforce infrastructure and a vital investment in our communities.

We are grateful for the opportunity to meet with legislators, share our stories, and be part of the conversation shaping the future of early childhood in Kansas. Thank you to everyone who continues to champion our youngest learners. 💛

Yesterday, our Kansas Directors had the privilege of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City. We prepared and served a warm meal of chili, cornbread, and sweet treats for the families staying there.

The Bernstein House, which opened on September 19, 1988, provides a home-like setting for families while their children receive medical care. With 19 bedrooms, an outdoor playground, and a Sporting KC–themed basement, it offers comfort, support, and relief during challenging times. Renamed on its 30th anniversary, the house honors Dr. Phyliss and Bob Bernstein and their family for their lasting impact on the community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and support families in such a meaningful way. 💛
