Olathe Career Pathways

Last night was something special❤️ Our families were treated to a wonderful Drop N Dine experience, thanks to the amazing Chef Shaw and the talented Olathe Advanced Technical Center Culinary Arts Program👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Drop N Dine gives parents a chance to enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by a local chef or restaurant team while their kids take part in a fun volunteer-led activity. It's more than just dinner, it's a rare and cherished moment of rest, connection, and joy.

For many of these parents, it’s the first real “date night” they’ve had in a long time! And it's made possible by a generous and caring community. Thank you, Chef Shaw and crew, for bringing warmth, flavor, and a whole lot of love to our families’ evening!

Some Olathe Culinary students went to Children’s Mercy Hospital in downtown KC to serve families at the Ronald McDonald Housr a 3 course meal. A very fun and rewarding experience for the students.
