Meet the Coaches!

💚🖤Coach Memphis🖤💚

Memphis is a coach and the owner of McIntosh Athletics. He started competition tumbling at McIntosh Tumbling at 9 years old and reached the elite level.

Memphis was also an All-Star cheerleader for 2 Tulsa based-teams, where he competed on teams levels 2-6.

He started coaching at 13 years old and became a business partner at 19. At 21 he purchased the gym.

Favorite thing about coaching: All the random questions and conversations athletes bring up.

His goal for his athletes: He hopes they learn it is ok to fall as long as you get back up.

Outside of the gym: Memphis works in quality control at an aviation shop. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts and music festivals, fishing, and playing disc golf.

Something you may not know about him: He has 3 motorcycles he doesn’t ride (he said they are for sale 😂).

Guilty pleasure movie choice: Goofy ‘80s horror films

Last week we got to celebrate our 2026 USTA National Champion, Rayge!! He got his own banner to take home, and another banner was added to the gym walls with our previous National Champions. Rayge is the youngest National Champion ever at McIntosh, at only 3 years old!

Some of our competition athletes and coaches went to the Oklahoma USTA clinic hosted by Ada FreeFall Tumbling. Coaches and athletes from across the state came together for a day full of learning, meeting new friends, and making memories. It was a great day! We appreciate everyone who puts so much into our athletes and this sport in Oklahoma!
