OSUIT Prepares for Land-Grant Week Celebration Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT) is getting ready to celebrate its legacy with Land-Grant Week, a series of events running all week.

We value our collaboration with USIC, a leader in public utility locating services, through their Career and Technical Education program.

By working alongside USIC instructor Zachary Conley and students, our SEPL students gain exposure to the latest line location technology, which is an essential skill for today’s workforce. This real-world, hands-on experience not only strengthens their technical abilities but also expands their skill bank for future career success.

The Tulsa Pipeliners Club hosted a Pipeline College course on September 9, providing professional development hours and valuable industry education for the next generation of oil and gas professionals.

A special thank you to Darby Equipment Company for opening their doors and demonstrating cutting-edge tools used in pipeline construction operations—including the PipeVac lift system, internal line-up clamp, pipe bending, and built-in safety features to prevent accidents.

Our students gained an incredible hands-on learning experience and walked away with knowledge that connects classroom theory to real-world applications.

Thank you to both the Tulsa Pipeliners Club and Darby Equipment Company for investing in our students and their future success!

Several of our Pipeline Integrity second year students have been awarded scholarships thanks to the generosity of the Tulsa Pipeliners Club. This support not only eases the financial burden of college, but also invests directly in the future of our students and the safety of our nation's energy infrastructure.

Thank you Tulsa Pipeliners Club for your commitment to education! Congratulations to each of the recipients, your success is well deserved and we are excited to watch your accomplishments in the Energy industry.

Our Pipeline Integrity students were able to have a great hands-on learning experience today with visitors from USIC. They worked together tracking lines and training around our campus, ending at the Phillips 66 sponsored outdoor classroom.
Great day and experience for everyone.
