We have had some really delicious breakfasts donated at the beginning of the year!! Açaí bowls from Modern Berry Co purchased from our fantastic admin, bagels from Bagel Cafe, and a yogurt and pastry bar from New Hope United Methodist Church! Second grade read “Your Fantastic Elastic Brain” and learned about how the brain works when you learn new things! Then they made their own neurons. 🧠💡

Five of our students participated in the 2026 Piedmont Youth Art Show, with this year’s theme being “Dreams on the Prairie.”

Congratulations to Brielle W., Madisyn P., Imani H., Lynlee M., and Tay’Lynn N. for representing Ralph Downs Elementary and our art program! 🎨✨

In the Ages 10–11 Division, we proudly earned:

🥈 2nd Place — Brielle W.
🥉 3rd Place — Madison P.

Master TuTu was quoted as saying, “I am proud of all five students for sharing their creativity with the community. Opportunities like this give our young artists the chance to create, exhibit, compete, and build confidence.”
