Welcome, Veterinary Technology Class of 2028! 🐾

We are excited to officially welcome 24 new students to the OSU-OKC Veterinary Technology Program!

Over the next two years, these future veterinary technicians will develop the knowledge, skills, compassion, and professionalism needed to make a difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. From learning essential nursing skills and clinical procedures to gaining hands-on experience in a variety of veterinary settings, this journey will be both challenging and rewarding.

Congratulations on taking the first step toward a career dedicated to animal health and welfare. We are proud to be part of your educational journey and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish. 🧡

☀️ Summer semester kicks off next week for our Veterinary Technology students!

Our second-year students will be putting their skills into practice as they complete clinical hours while working full-time alongside their veterinary team mentors at partnered preceptorship sites across the state.

Meanwhile, our first-year students will be diving into Clinical Management, building the knowledge and professional skills needed to succeed in veterinary practice.

We are excited to see our students continue growing as future veterinary professionals this summer. Good luck to everyone as the semester begins! 🐾🩺📚
