Oklahoma Earthquakes and more

1pm today....a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck Cooter Missouri... in the famed earthquake zone in Missouri's boot hill.

While we slept in Oklahoma....the Tonga region...east of Fiji in the south pacific had a 7.5 magnitude quake. This is what it looks like rolling into my station in western Oklahoma city....thats a powerful quake to make it to Oklahoma seismically detected.

Yesterdays central U.S. quakes

1014 pm concho Oklahoma 2/15/26 a 3.7 magnitude earthquake is rolling into my seismological station....a felt a bump and widow rattle in NW okc....anyone else notice it?

First a gas well blowout this afternoon in Grady county and now at 551pm a 3.0 magnitude earthquake a mile northeast of Dibble Oklahoma. Who felt it...? Who is being evacuated from the blowout?

6.0 magnitude quake rolling into my seismological station in western Oklahoma city....930pm. It is just off shore on the Oregon coast

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake is rolling into my Okc seismological station. It struck at 758am and located south of Mexico city. There will be damage reports with this one.

12/27/25 5:46pm west of Union City Oklahoma another quake 2.5 magnitude shook from a well fracking site .There have been several small quakes at the location and more to come until they complete the well.

3.2 magnitude earthquake west of Union city Oklahoma occurred at 536am on 12/26/2025. That one will rattle your windows out there. Anyone out that way feel it?
