Maryland mom attacks daughter's alleged bully in middle school: Police 03/15/2023

Good information, we see many double lobby entries at Oklahoma Public School however they are not configured correctly or in many cases they are not being used properly. Removing free access requires a culture change (which is difficult), parents are where it starts by understanding that schools cannot simply allow them into the building free to roam to their child's class. ODEMHS-OSSI is excited to announce that students, teachers and staff can now report threats in Oklahoma schools via text message. Through a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (ODEMHS) and its subsidiary, the Oklahoma School Security Institute (OSSI) and Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE), this state-of-the-art technology will enhance statewide school safety and security to an already existing telephone tip line.
The text function works in conjunction with OSSI’s telephone tip line. Before the addition of text, reports could be called in (855-337-8300) or filed online (tipline.ok.gov). Now, suspicious activity or concerns can be reported by texting “OKSThreat” to 226787. Texting a tip will allow for anonymous, two-way communication, images and video to be sent 24 hours a day. Any incident that could compromise the safety or security of any Oklahoma school or school-sanctioned event should be reported
