Good information, we see many double lobby entries at Oklahoma Public School however they are not configured correctly or in many cases they are not being used properly. Removing free access requires a culture change (which is difficult), parents are where it starts by understanding that schools cannot simply allow them into the building free to roam to their child's class. Ask a school staff member what keeps them up at night and they will tell you providing a safe and secure learning environment for their babies. Let's help them out don't give push back when you can't take gym shoes directly to your son or daughter in the classroom. This is a prime example of what can happen when systems are overridden to provide convenience over security.

ODEMHS-OSSI is excited to announce that students, teachers and staff can now report threats in Oklahoma schools via text message.
