Comets burn bright even during summer vacation. Malachi Ross was awarded MVP of the 7v7 Wes Welker tournament, an award Wes Welker calls the 'undrafted award' because he went undrafted in the NFL. We secured wins against PC West, Douglass, and US Grant but didn't advance past the semifinals against PCO.

Our outstanding staff gathered for a lighthearted Classen staff awards luncheon to wrap up the year, enjoying burgers and hot dogs grilled by our admin team. Although this year was remarkable, our sights are set on even greater achievements in the upcoming year.

That’s a wrap on an incredible run for the Classen SAS Academic Team at the High School National Championship Tournament in Atlanta, GA 💙💫
Our Comets finished 7-3 in prelims, then battled through 6 straight playoff games to earn an impressive 13th place finish out of more than 320 teams in the nation. Competing against some of the brightest schools in the country, they represented Classen with intelligence, determination, and true Comet excellence every step of the way.
A huge congratulations to Captain Sreekar Vajjha, who finished as the tournament’s 3rd highest individual scorer out of 1,790 competitors nationwide — an absolutely phenomenal accomplishment and a moment that makes the entire Classen community proud ⭐️
Congratulations to these outstanding students for an unforgettable national showing:
✨ Sreekar Vajjha (Captain, 11th grade)
✨ Sidarth Krishnan (9th grade)
✨ Anvitha Ponnavolu (9th grade)
✨ Elizabeth Larson (11th grade)
Thank you to Ms. Termini for her continued dedication, guidance, and support of these students and the program.
The Comet magic isn’t slowing down just yet 💫 Next stop: PACE Nationals in Chicago on June 5-7. We’re cheering this team on all the way!
Everywhere you look Comets are burning bright!

A little rain never stops a comet! We had an incredible time on our last day of schoolwith our spring fair and yearbook signing party. Tons of laughter, games, food, music, pictures, and even some tears. We know a picture is worth a thousand words but even these don't quite capture the joy amd community that was shared today. Class of 2026 thank you and continue to burn bright. Class of 2027, 2028, 2029 and incoming class of 2030 rest up because next year is going to be off the charts!
