Today, we met Pastor Moore who visited NWC. He mentioned he remembered NWC JROTC from our participation in the Martin Luther King Parade. He stated "you guys were very noticeable; such a large and good looking group!" These type compliments remind us that people are always watching.

Also awesome to see we are on the announcement pages for this year's Fiesta de Las Americas Parade at Calle Dos Cinco. One of our favorite events of the year!

Calling all JROTCs to join this year!!

And if you are wondering who keeps us looking good, its our sponsors and the support from the community. 2e could not do as much as we do without their help. Shirts are made at Craftly... check em out!

While most students are enjoying their summer break, these cadets chose to spend their time serving others.

School hasn't even started, yet they answered the call to represent our school and community with pride through the Color Guard. Their commitment reminds us that leadership doesn't take a vacation, and service doesn't have a season.

Thank you, cadets, for continuing to set the standard. We couldn't be more proud of you.

SHE JUST LANDED IN CHICAGO!

Today, we wish our own ex c/First Sergeant Yuliana Mendoza the very best as she begins her journey thru Nany Basic Training.

Help us congratulate her, wish her luck, and send her the best wishes. We have no doubt she will accomplish big things in life, as she did at school. We are proud to have had her in JROTC and now as Northwest Classen High School Alumni.

Good luck Yuliana!!

Day 4 complete.

One last hard day became one unforgettable week.

The students arrived as members of different schools and different programs, but they leave with friendships that stretch across the state. They learned from one another, competed alongside one another, and discovered that despite wearing different unit patches, they are all part of something bigger than themselves.

Some lessons were taught in training lanes, on obstacle courses, and during team challenges. Other lessons came from late-night conversations, shared struggles, and learning to rely on people they had never met before this week.

Day 3 complete.

One more hard day left and one more chance to prove yourself on what you are capable of. JCLC isn't about being comfortable, it's about growing through challenges, building confidence and strengths within yourselves.

Tomorrow won't be easy, but neither have the last few days. The finish line is near - Stay Motivated!!

Day 2 complete and now halfway to the finish line! We’re watching the cadets push through, and we’re proud of the grit and teamwork they’re showing.

Keep that motivation up!
