Our Radiology Technology students visited the Oklahoma State Capitol, where they explored the legislative process and saw firsthand where decisions affecting healthcare professionals are made. As part of their Medical Law and Ethics coursework, they wrote letters to Oklahoma legislators advocating for state licensure requirements for radiology technologists in Oklahoma!

As we wrap up August’s Personal Growth theme, this week we’re focusing on Self-Compassion.

Growth isn’t always linear. There will be difficult days, mistakes, setbacks, and moments when we don’t feel like our best selves. Self-compassion means meeting those moments with patience and understanding instead of criticism.
