Our Surgical Technologist students recently completed a mock surgery, practicing the skills, precision, and teamwork required for success in the surgical field!

Central Oklahoma College will be CLOSED on Friday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth! We will resume regular business hours on Monday, June 22nd.

Our Esthetician students showcased their visual aids during their Skin Project presentations. We’re proud of their hard work and dedication!

Central Oklahoma College’s June Resource of the Month

This month, we’re highlighting local programs that help ensure children and teens have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer.

☀️ Free Summer Meals for Kids are available through several organizations across the Oklahoma City and Norman areas, providing breakfast, lunch, snacks, and sack lunches for children and teens 18 years old and younger.

At Central Oklahoma College, we believe in supporting the well-being of our students, families, and community. We hope these resources help make summer a little easier for those who need them.

Our Cosmetology students enjoyed a special presentation from the team at Blo Beauty Bar, gaining valuable insight into the beauty industry and professional salon life. Thank you for inspiring our future beauty professionals and sharing your expertise!

Our Surgical Technologist students are gaining hands-on experience by practicing patient prep techniques in the lab. Every skill learned brings them one step closer to a successful career in the operating room!

Congratulations to our Students of the Month! Your hard work, determination, and commitment to success have not gone unnoticed. We are proud of you and excited to celebrate your achievements!

This week we are celebrating our Director of Surgical Technologist program, Kristi Brooks. Kristi won the Fellowship of the Association of Surgical Technologists (FAST) Award. This is awarded by the Association of Surgical Technology and is only given to 20 Surgical Technologists in the United States. Congratulations Kristi!
