The South OKC Chamber is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of legendary Oklahoma meteorologist Gary England. A trusted voice in Oklahoma homes for decades, Gary’s legacy goes far beyond the forecast.

In 2015, we were honored to recognize him as our Native Son Award recipient. He was a true Oklahoma icon whose calm presence and pioneering work kept generations safe.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who admired and were inspired by him.
