OKCPS Bond

The Jefferson Middle School bond project includes a new addition with classrooms and specialized spaces for students. The project also includes the renovation of locker rooms and a new competition gym that will serve as a storm shelter. This new space will be finished this summer. Project partners are GH2 Architects LLC and Timberlake Construction.

A few of the OKCPS Communications and Capital Projects team toured the new Skyline Middle School on Wednesday. This new school, located at 821 SE 25th Street, will combine the enrollments of Wheeler Middle School and Capitol Hill Middle School. This 151,379-square-foot middle school will open for the 2026-2027 school year. Partners on this job site are The.Stacy.Group and Willowbrook,Inc.

A look at the work being done on the new two-story competition gym at Star Spencer High School. This new space will adjoin the existing football field and was part of the 2022 bond initiative. Project partners at this site are Rand Elliott Architects and QUAD.Build, Inc.

Pictures of the new gym at Capitol Hill High School . This new high school is one of three new schools that will open for the 2026-2027 school year. Project partners at this bond site are MA+ Architecture and Flintco.

Work is progressing on the new Oklahoma City Public Schools College and Career Center at U.S. Grant High School. This new addition is one of six College and Career Centers under construction that were part of the historic 2022 bond initiative. Partners at this site are TAP Architecture and Crossland Construction Company, Inc.

We are loving this classroom view at the new Capitol Hill High School . This new high school will open for the 2026-2027 school year.
