Our work is in food coaching and education. We don’t want you to be any of those things. And we want to help.
We believe that food is a powerful way to create or support the life you want while connecting with yourself, others, and the community; but, we also know that it’s complicated. People are busy, sick, allergic to foods more than ever, and, often times, overwhelmed by their kitchens, grocery stores and markets.

The habits that will help me achieve my goals are as good as done. ✅

Finding your deepest reasons for change is the most important step in your health process. Your body and mind might have a lot of healing to do. The process of change will be tough and you’ll need to go back to your why. Like, every day.
When you find your meaningful why - you’ll know it. And you’ll unlock an immovable commitment on promises to yourself. 💪

Why does the habit matter to you? What’s on the other side of it?
On Monday night, my bookclub discussed Atomic Habits by James Clear. As a whole, Atomic Habits has some amazing principles and mindsets that will absolutely help someone in their process to change their habits. But, overall, the consensus was that it was too formulaic and missed some key ingredients for building habits that last.
Focusing only on “how to change your habits” is exactly what’s keeping you stuck in finally creating habits that stick.
No habit will ever stick if there isn’t a strong enough why behind it. One that’s truly meaningful to you.
I want to lose weight.
I want to feel better.
I want more energy.
These reasons are not enough to keep you in the game of habit change. You can read all the books available about changing your habits, but without uncovering why that change matters to you, your brain will resist you every step of the way. You will constantly second-guess the habits you’re trying to build and look for the easy way out.
If you want to be unshakeable in your commitment to new actions no matter how much your inner voice resists it, there has to be a deeply powerful reason behind it.
Most people just skip to the how — How do I change my habits? But, if you want to be rocking those habits 10, 20, 30 years from now...you have to be crystal clear on why you want to do them in the first place.
Whether you’re a parent, an educator, or a leader, prioritizing your health goes far beyond having more energy, weight loss, or better mental health. There are benefits you may not even see yet - impacting so much more than your life 👏

With obvious exceptions, I think most things can be a health practice. Here’s what that’s looked like in our life lately - Spring Break Edition:
Open house for friends/family (community)
Slow mornings with music & coloring (relaxation)
Coffee/lemonade dates with dad during his lunch (relationship)
Lots of reading and trips to the bookstore (relaxation)
Super simple whole foods (nutrition)
When life is full and stressful, I’m always reminded that prioritizing my health and my family’s is far more simple than my brain wants to believe. And sometimes, less is _so much_ more.

These past several months away from social media have been filled with education, contemplation, and rest that have deepened my approach to functional nutrition.
I graduated from a 6-month executive growth program, stepped into teaching in-person workshops, and launched my first group-coaching program 🎉
In these months away, I’ve witnessed exciting client shifts - from finally identifying hidden health struggles — like Hashimotos thyroiditis and insulin resistance — to building new relationships with self care. Life lately has been full & sweet & hard...
From shutting down a business & navigating motherhood to extreme personal hardships and immense personal, emotional, and spiritual growth, my health has been my greatest teacher AND asset.

Those words felt like a a call: No more fear of the unknown or doubting if it’s worth it. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to the bottom of it — for ourselves and those we influence. 💪🏼
