The 2016 Oklahoma Thoracic Oncology Conference addresses newer advances in areas of interest for lung and esophageal cancer treatment. The single-day program will consist of lectures and case discussions highlighting the multidisciplinary coordination of cancer care and the application of progressive technology to cancer care. Evidence-based medicine highlighting relevant clinical trial data will be provided as well as current controversies involving such care. Experts on the subject will present lectures and be available for questions and case discussions.

The 42nd Annual William K. Ishmael Lectureship is a continuing medical education event open to all physicians, researchers and those in the medical community focused in rheumatology, orthopedics, family medicine, internal medicine and immunology. The activity begins with dinner on Thursday, October 13 and continues throughout the day on Friday, October 14. Lectures provide specific updates in diagnosis, treatment, and pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases taught by experts in their respective fields. During lunch attendees will have the opportunity to network and the course director will begin to select the next year’s planning committee.
