♟️Chess Club is back! ♟️

Sign up for after-school chess on Mondays from 3:10–4:20 PM!

K–1st Graders: Sept 14 – Dec 14

2nd–4th Graders: Jan 11 – April 26

Cost: $75 (includes chess lessons, a 1-year Chesskid.com subscription, and a T-shirt!). Scholarships available upon request.

🙋 Parent Volunteers: We need supervisors! No chess experience necessary—just complete the yearly background check and sign up!

📋 Deadline: Return your signup sheet to the front office or email [email protected] by Tuesday, Aug 25.

Secure your spot in the Wilson Fall Soccer Recreational League.

Details:

Ages: Pre-K through 4th grade (U6, U8, U10)

Registration Deadline: August 15!

Fees: $85

Practices: Thursdays 6-7 PM at Booker T Washington Park (Starting tentatively 8/27)

Games: Saturdays at Wendel Whisenhunt (Starting 9/12)

Wilson Wise Wolves, it’s Popsicles in the Park day! 🐺

Join us today for a free popsicles, time with friends, and excitement for the new school year!

Can’t make it? Join us for our second Popsicles in the Park on Monday, August 3, from 4:00–5:00 PM at the Wilson School Playground.

We are so excited for school to start on Tuesday, August 11! Here’s a few details to get ready for the new year:

🌟 Meet the Teacher is Thursday, August 6th from 4:30-6:30pm, come and go. Meet your student’s teacher, tour the classroom, and learn about PTA, clubs, and after school opportunities.

✏️ School supplies: please bring the suggested $25 donation per child in lieu of buying individual supplies. You can donate at the school supply table at Meet the Teacher or at the office after school starts.

👕 Uniforms: tops are white, navy, or gray, bottoms are navy, khaki, or black. Wilson shirt and jeans are welcome on Fridays. Spirit gear will be available for purchase throughout the year.

🕐 School hours for elementary this year are 8:10am to 3:20pm.
