Our 2026–2027 School Supply Lists are now available! As you enjoy these weeks of summer fun, take a moment to check out your child's supply list and begin gathering the items they'll need for a great start to the year. We wanted to post these lists sooner than later because we know there are a lot of sales coming. 😊 📚✨

Whether you're spending your days by the pool, traveling, or simply relaxing at home, we hope your summer has been filled with laughter, adventure, and wonderful memories. We can't wait to welcome our students back and fill our halls with smiling faces once again! 🌞

El verano está pasando volando y estamos muy emocionados por empezar a prepararnos para otro año escolar fantástico en Fillmore. 🎉

¡Ya están disponibles las listas de útiles escolares para el ciclo 2026–2027! Mientras disfrutan de estas semanas de diversión veraniega, tómense un momento para revisar la lista de útiles de sus hijos y comenzar a reunir los artículos que necesitarán para un excelente comienzo de año. We are excited to share some great summer opportunities for our elementary-aged OKCPS scholars and families! Thanks to our amazing partners - Fields & Futures, First Serve OKC, and First Tee - our scholar-athletes have the chance to stay active, build skills, connect with coaches, and have fun over the summer break.

Today at Fillmore Elementary, we celebrate our amazing principal, Ms. Bowman, and her dedication to our students, staff, and school community.

Ms. Bowman leads with purpose, supports with care, and works hard every day to create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all of our students. Her commitment to our kids and our school does not go unnoticed. She truly loves our school community and puts her heart into everything she does.

We are so thankful for her leadership and all that she does each and every day! 💚

🎉 Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up at Fillmore! Join us May 4th–May 8th as we celebrate our amazing teachers all week long. Families are welcome to participate in any way they’d like—big or small. Participation is always optional, and simple, thoughtful gestures from the heart are more than enough!

Here’s our theme for each day:

📝 Monday – Thoughtful Start
Bring a note or drawing for your teacher.

🍪 Tuesday – Snack Attack
Bring a small snack or drink.

☕ Wednesday – Cozy Comfort
Bring a small comfort item, such as tea, hot chocolate, or a treat.

💬 Thursday – Compliments Count
Share a specific compliment, kind words, or a note.

🎁 Friday – Appreciation Gift
Bring a small gift of appreciation—flowers, candy, a favorite drink, or anything thoughtful.

Let’s make this a special week for the teachers who do so much for our students every day!

🎉 ¡La Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros ya casi llega a Fillmore! Acompáñenos del 4 al 8 de mayo para celebrar a nuestros increíbles maestros durante toda la semana. Las familias pueden participar de la manera que deseen—grande o pequeña. La participación es opcional, y los detalles sencillos y sinceros siempre son suficientes.

Aquí está el tema de cada día:

📝 Lunes – Comienzo Considerado

Our Fillmore Falcons showed up and showed out at the OKC Memorial Marathon Kids Run today!

We may have been the last group to start, but we finished strong and crossed that finish line like champions.

Our students represented Fillmore well and gave great effort from start to finish. Way to run, Falcons… you definitely saved the best for last!

¡Nuestros Fillmore Falcons se lucieron hoy en la carrera infantil del OKC Memorial Marathon!

Puede que hayamos sido el último grupo en comenzar, ¡pero terminamos con fuerza y cruzamos la meta como campeones!

Nuestros estudiantes representaron muy bien a Fillmore y dieron su mejor esfuerzo de principio a fin. ¡Buen trabajo, Falcons… definitivamente guardaron lo mejor para el final!
