ORA is pleased to congratulate our own Roberta Helsley who will soon be the recipient of the Oklahoma Society of Association Executives award for 2023 Excellence in Community Development and Service. Roberta, congratulations on the impactful work that you by creating industry connections and meaningful experiences for Oklahoma ProStart culinary and restaurant management students and their instructors. OSAE will present Roberta and others with their award at the OSAE 60th Anniversary Conference in Tulsa at the River Spirit Casino Resort.

After two years that was an incredible Prostart Invitational to come back with!! Thank you to all of the students, volunteers, judges, mentors, and partners who helped make the 2023 Ben E. Keith Oklahoma ProStart Student Invitational a great one!!

Congratulations to all who competed today and we can't wait to cheer on the teams who will be advancing to the National ProStart Student Invitational in May to represent Oklahoma in Washington D.C.!

“I really respect programs like Oklahoma ProStart and the Hirst Hospitality Awards…To help develop the next generation to take our place and to become better professionals should be everyone’s goal. Our industry has moved leaps and bounds in the last two decades, but we have much to do to bring or develop new professionals in Oklahoma.”
