This was recently published about me. I am flattered and humbled while knowing that non of it would have been possible with out the love and support of my wife, assistant coaches and players.

"Putnam City North boys’ soccer coach Tom Pecore recently became the first ever 6A boys’ coach to have been selected both as the West All-State coach and the East All-State Coach. Mr. Pecore was the West 6A All-State Boys Coach in 2001 and 2003 and in April was named the 2017 6A East Boys All State Soccer Coach. He will coach the East 6A boys team against the West 6A Boys team at Putnam City Stadium the weekend of June 8-10. During his exemplary career he has coached the Putnam City North boys’ team to the state playoffs 15 out of the last 17 years. His teams have twice finished as state runner-up, once been ranked as the top team in the nation and two other times been ranked in the top 25 in the nation. His all-time record as a high school head coach, which includes time as head coach at two other schools, is 262 wins, 70 losses and four ties."

I have always said to my players that in almost every game - anyone can be a hero.

The biggest game we all play is the game of life and I have one former player that became a hero!

Former PC North Soccer player Wyatt Carroll saved his father Stan's life Tuesday morning. Stan suffered cardiac arrest and Wyatt performed CPR. He had blood clots in both lungs that caused him to have this heart attack. The paramedics had to shock him twice. But Wyatt was amazing. Stan's improving amazingly fast.

I am proud of Wyatt that he had the calmness and presence of mind to do what he had to do.

Bryan Byers helps the Tulsa Roughnecks get to a 3-0 start in the preseason.

Congratulations to former PC North goal keeper and coach Bryan Byars for signing a professional contract to play for the USL expansion team, the Tulsa Roughnecks.

Very few schools can claim that they have produced professional soccer players - especially goal keepers.

We look for great things for Bryan Byars and know that he has a bright future.
