SixTwelve Sharing tools to build a better community. SixTwelve seeks to bring many disciplines under one roof where community can flourish.

Located in the heart of the Paseo Arts District, SixTwelve provides opportunities for people both young and old to learn skills in the arts, music, cooking, gardening and sustainable local living. The space sports a cooperative garden, a teaching kitchen, a gallery, two outdoor performance stages, and two flexible classrooms. Due to children’s programming taking place on site, visitation is by appointment only and we are only open to the public during public program times. We thank you for your understanding.

We had such a magical time meeting, interviewing and filming Jun Iida and his band Dylan Hayes, De. Bryant & Sam Arnold at The 1905 in Portland last week! The set often had a transcendental meditative feel to it.

Highlighted by originals like “Chasing Peace,” which Jun took a moment to tell the audience was inspired by a quote from jazz legend Ahmad Jamal about a musician maintaining their mental stamina while touring (very on topic for us) and the group’s loose groove take on Nujabes’ 2003 “The Final View” - both of which are featured on Jun Iida’s 2026 release, Bellflower.

We wanted to take a moment to also thank the incredible staff of the 1905 for being so hospitable and accommodating. And for a superbly lovely evening! Catch Jun on the road later this year and keep your eyes and ears open for all of our upcoming residency videos !

Dolly Parton was a gift to this entire world for 80 years. She showed us all what it meant to love everyone generously, without judgment or prejudice. She gave us the greatest example of an open heart. Her music moved us, but so did the way she lived her life. We are pretty heartbroken, but we believe it’s up to all of us to fill the gap that she leaves behind. Now more than ever, it is important to love others as fully as you can.

Thank you for all that you gave, Dolly. We will miss you forever.♥️

Today is a monumental day for us here at SixTwelve! Our 2025 Recording, Mixing, Mastering residents, Coat, have released their very first LP! Coat not only made their residency budget stretch enough to cover the costs of recording, mixing, & mastering, they were also able to press their album on vinyl (they’ll arrive soon!) and have a little left over to cover PR. To say that it has been a joy at every step to work with these fine folks would be an understatement. And this is the first music project to actually be released out into the wild since Brothers Griiin in 2019, so we feel like we’ve grown as an organization too. So proud!!!

They’re having an album release show tonight at Blue Note Lounge, so come see them, with support from Burl & CHERRY LAUREL! It’s sure to be a night of great music and fun! 🎉

We are celebrating for our 2025 Recording, Mixing, Mastering Residents, Coat! They’ve released their residency project and their first LP, “Animal Control” and it is so good! Working with Coat has been a dream and we’re so proud to have supported. Come out to OKC Blue Note tonight for the release party and find them on all the streaming service. We hear you’ll soon be able to get it on vinyl! ✨
