As we celebrate Independence Day, the TRS office is closed today Friday, July 3.

While our office is unavailable, members can conveniently access account information, forms, and helpful resources through MyTRS and our website at oklahoma.gov/trs.

We wish our members, retirees, and Oklahoma educators a Happy Independence Day and have a wonderful holiday weekend.

Beginning today, July 1, 2026, changes under HB 2288 are officially in effect for TRS members.

The legislation updates post-retirement employment rules, including a new six-month break-in-service requirement for members retiring on or after July 1, 2026, and removes earnings limitations for many retirees returning to public education employment after meeting the required break in service.
