Oklahoma City University wins top program in the state at the first tournament of the season! Congrats to all who competed to help secure this victory.

Salute to our seniors during this tough time. Conner Mulvaney is a national qualifying competitor and PPE major going on to attend OCU Law. He has done a phenomenal job as captain mentoring all the new debaters. We're proud to announce he has been awarded the Horace W. Robinson Graduate of Distinction Award by OCU Speech and Debate!

National qualifiers! One picture is of eight of our students that qualified for the AFA-NIET and one picture of Lauren Snare and Sajin Poos who both qualified for IOA Nationals.

Oklahoma City University took second at the state debate tournament being edged out by Cameron University. Lauren Snare and Sajin Poos earned the two Oklahoma bids to Interstate Oratory. Eli Nash split the state championship in POI with Teague Fox from Cameron. Jack Broyles broke to IPDA quarterfinals. Other IE placements for Olivia Allen, Jack Broyles, Eli Nash, and Sean Baisden.

Great weekend at the Sweetheart Swing! Top Oklahoma school (first half anyway), freshman NPDA team broke to semifinals, first college competition for Eli and he earned 2nd in POI, and freshman Gardner won first place speaker in debate. Lots of other great placements by Megan, Lauren, and Conner. Great work by all!

OCU breaks to semifinals at the Sweetheart Swing. Lost is a heartbreaking 2-1 decision. Had a great time, though. Back at it tomorrow with speech events. Hoping to bring home sweepstakes hardware!

This weekend is the Sweetheart Swing. We're looking forward to some love at Cameron University!

Oklahoma City University Speech and Debate won big at the Cameron Christmas Classic. Everyone doing an IE brought home a coveted nutcracker and earned OCU the title of Top Oklahoma Program! The Stars are finishing finals this week before a much deserved break.
