Thrive Mama Collective

A chapter is closing for Thrive Mama Collective as we say goodbye to our in-person location this week. Midwifery clients will continue to be seen at our OKC Birth Center location.

Many factors influenced this decision, but after carrying this vision for a decade, I feel ready to step into a simpler, more intentional season that creates space for new goals and possibilities.

When we opened our doors ten years ago, nothing quite like Thrive Mama Collective existed in Oklahoma. We created a full-service birth and family wellness collective with a mission to help families do more than simply survive the early years. Since then, we have supported hundreds of families through pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, and parenthood with compassionate care, trusted resources, classes, and community.

As the collective grew, so did our offerings. We welcomed a thoughtfully curated collection of essentials in our shop for mothers and babies, and we watched many talented providers build thriving practices within our walls, several eventually outgrowing the collective and opening spaces of their own.

The landscape has changed considerably over the past decade. Covid-19 reshaped in-person businesses, and new coworking and collective wellness spaces began appearing throughout our community. Seeing ideas that were once uncommon become part of the fabric of Oklahoma has been incredibly meaningful. In many ways, it tells us that the vision behind Thrive Mama took root.

Only about one-third of businesses reach their tenth anniversary, and we are deeply proud to be among them. Closing our physical location does not erase what we built or the families we served. It marks the completion of one meaningful chapter and the beginning of another.

Thrive Mama’s mission will continue through an online network connecting families with trusted providers, support, and resources. We hope our community will help us carry that mission forward, because the space may be closing, but the impact, relationships, and vision we created together will continue. 🫶🏻

Thrive Mama Collective has co-working and office space available for rent, designed for doulas, health providers, beauty and wellness experts, educators, lactation consultants, and perinatal practitioners.

• Private office to meet clients with coffee bar
• Room to teach classes and workshops
• $0 rental cost bartering options available for newer birth workers finding their footing

This is more than an office, it’s a place to land, build, and be supported while you do the work that matters.
