This morning Council Grove celebrated GROWTH!!! This year at Council Grove 85% of our students made reading growth from the beginning to the end of the year! We are so proud of our scholars!!! They exceeded their goal to be able to cut off Mrs. Colvins hair!!! 💇🏻‍♀️

We had 6 teachers that had 100% of their students make growth! They got to help cut Ms. Colvin’s hair off. She is donating her hair to an organization that makes wigs for people with cancer.

Council Grove 4th grade students & families,
Get ready for 5th grade!!
Our 4th grade students will be touring Bridgestone on Wednesday, May 13th in the morning. Then, the parents of 4th grade students will get to learn all about Bridgestone that evening from 4:30-5:30!
We want to see as many 4th grade families from Council Grove as possible at the evening event. We want to win bragging rights by having the most families from Council Grove in attendance! We want to show just how amazing our Thunderbirds are!!

# # 🎬 That’s a Wrap! A Blockbuster Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 🎥
Our **"Staff Appreciation at the Movies"** week has officially come to a close, and it was a total smash hit! We rolled out the red carpet to treat our staff like the stars they are! Our hearts are full because of the incredible support from our community. To the families who sent in kind notes, beautiful flowers, and kept our staff fueled with delicious snacks and drinks—**THANK YOU!** You made our team feel like the true A-listers they are.
A special shout-out to our community partners and volunteers who helped coordinate the week and ensure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. It truly takes a village (or a full production crew!) to make an impact like this.
We are so lucky to have such a supportive community backing our dedicated staff. See you at the next "screening!" 🎥🍿
