It was a pleasure to visit with freshman Senator Julia Kirt, Oklahoma Senate District 30. Senator Kirt has been a lifelong advocate for the arts in Oklahoma and we appreciate her taking time from her busy schedule during the legislative session to visit OCCC's campus this week.

Due to winter weather, Oklahoma City Community College will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019; this includes the Main Campus, Family and Community Education (FACE) Center, Capitol Hill Center (CHC), and the Professional Development Institute (PDI). If your class, activity, or event begins at 3:00 p.m. or later, it is canceled. Unless notified otherwise, all classes, activities, and events will resume tomorrow, Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the regularly scheduled time. Students, employees, and visitors are encouraged to drive safely.
