I'm still processing the journey. If I haven't seen you in person yet to give proper thanks, Thank You! Even though I'm filling an unexpired term, I don't start official NEA Director duties until September 1, in accordance with NEA guidelines. I will be attending a new NEA Board members luncheon while we're in Denver at the Representative Assembly, but I won't attend NEA training until August.

This past week I was privileged to join new and current OEA Board members in the annual OEA Board training and retreat. I'm excited to begin the work with this excellent OEA Board once I'm trained by NEA and official in September.

Timing and schedules are funny. Since I'm filling the unexpired term, I will begin my official campaign for reelection before I'm able to do any of the official work of NEA Director. 😆

The success of the prior campaign was not mine alone. With that in mind I'm currently looking for a dedicated crew to join us on my "Re-Elect LeeAnne for NEA Director" committee. If you're interested in helping, comment below, send me a text, or shoot me a dm.
