ボタニカルガーデンでソーラン節を踊りました✨
鳥居や墨絵、浮世絵をモチーフにした生花など、日本の雰囲気があって、とても素敵でした🌸

We had an opportunity to dance Soran Bushi at Myriad Botanical Garden for the Orchid Ikebana exhibition✨✨

With elements like torii gates, sumi-e paintings, and flower arrangements inspired by Ukiyo-e motifs, the atmosphere had a beautiful Japanese touch🌸

Also, we saw performance🔥🔥

We’re excited to announce JASO’s Traditional Craft Workshop Series! Each month, we’ll explore and celebrate Japanese traditional crafts.

This month, we’re featuring Daruma✨
A Daruma (だるま) is a traditional Japanese wish-making doll that symbolizes perseverance and good luck. We will paint and make our own Daruma!

Date: Friday, March 14, 2025. 6:00-7:00pm

JASO had a first Japanese Traditional Craft Workshop Series!! For February, we made Tsumami Zaiku keychain and Valentine’s Day card 💖

It was such an fun event to crafting together and eat Ramen with everyone🙌✨

JASO Traditional Craft Workshop Series: February Event

We’re excited to announce the start of JASO’s Traditional Craft Workshop Series this February! Each month, we’ll explore and celebrate Japanese traditional crafts.

This month, we’re featuring Tsumami Zaiku.
Tsumami Zaiku is a traditional Japanese craft that dates back to the Edo period (1603–1868). It involves folding small square pieces fabric to create intricate flowers and other designs.

Let’s create a Tsumami Zaiku keychain and a heart Tsumami Zaiku card for your loved one for yourself this Valentine’s Day♡

Date: Friday, February 14, 2025 6:00–7:30 PM (2nd Fri Art Walk is happening at E Main St 6-9PM!)

Location: Tamashii Ramen House, Norman (126 W Main St, Norman, OK 73069)
