Our Lower and Middle Division students were recognized in Chapel for their outstanding participation in this year's Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge. Together, these dedicated readers logged more than 110,000 pages over the summer, proving that a love of reading doesn't take a summer break. 📖💙

Wednesday Schedule Reminder!

Beginning this Wednesday, Aug. 26, and every Wednesday throughout the 2026–27 school year, we'll follow our late-start schedule:

• Early Drop-Off: 7:30 a.m. (supervised at no additional cost)
• Regular Carpool: 8:45 a.m.
• Upper Division Begins: 8:55 a.m.
• Primary, Lower & Middle Divisions Begin: 9:00 a.m.

Families are encouraged to enjoy the extra hour on Wednesday mornings when possible. If your student needs to arrive during their regular drop off window beginning at 7:30 a.m, they are welcome to do so and will be supervised until the start of the school day.

The locations for early arrival are as follows: PD - Loeffler, LD - Activity Center, MD - Calvert, UD - Kirby Hall.

🌟 Meet Aaron Sharpe ’10, our Young Alumni Achievement honoree!

As a physicist and SIMES Associate Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Aaron leads groundbreaking research on quantum materials, exploring the unique electronic properties of atomically thin crystals like graphene. His work is advancing our understanding of superconductivity, magnetism, and other quantum phenomena.

After earning his Ph.D. at Stanford, Aaron conducted research at MIT and Sandia National Laboratories before joining SLAC. His research has been published in Science and Nature and includes the discovery of a new type of ferromagnetism in twisted graphene systems.

In 2024, Aaron received the prestigious William McMillan Award, recognizing his outstanding early-career contributions to condensed matter physics.

🌟 Meet Eric Price ’00, our Alumni Achievement honoree!

An award-winning lyricist, librettist, playwright, and educator, Eric has built an acclaimed career in New York City's professional theatre. A recipient of the prestigious Kleban Prize for Lyrics, the Fred Ebb Award, and numerous ASCAP honors, his work has also earned a permanent place in the Library of Congress.

Eric has written acclaimed musicals including The Violet Hour and contributed to Apple TV+'s Central Park and the hit stage adaptation of Clue, now one of the most-produced plays in America. He also spent years working alongside legendary Broadway director Harold Prince, helping develop productions including the Tony Award-winning The Band's Visit.

Today, Eric continues to write new musicals while teaching the next generation of theatre artists as a professor at Pace University and Molloy University/CAP21.
