Summer school adventures continue with a visit to The National Guard museum (formerly the 45th Infantry Museum). Students learned about Oklahoma’s unique military history and heard about Mr. Duff’s own experiences in the 45th.

A day full of creative writing, art, music, new hymns, and stories for our second day of the summer school session. What a blessing it is to have fun learning with one another.

Today we took our summer school classroom to the lake - we went rose rock hunting at Stanley Draper! This is a great example of how much you can learn and experience in your own backyard. Geology Rocks!

A huge thank you to the OKC Philharmonic for sending a string quartet to perform for us today. These interactions with art and beautiful music are some of the best parts of this blended model/homeschooling journey.

Before we went into Spring Break and Holy Week, we explored the Botanical Gardens and sketched the flowers we saw. This unusually early spring has given us so much beauty!

Telos' very own quilt. What an impressive labor of love. Each student designed their own square: some tell stories, some are just designs, some are favorite scraps. Each square is unique to the child that created it and it is beautiful! Thank you, Dr. Cross () for all the work on your end and the inspiration you give the students!

The mission of Telos is to have students know and love God, to know their place in His kingdom, and to desire to play their role in His story of redemption. Telos aspires to provide our students with the tools of classical education to help them discover these goals in a way that is loving, edifying, and glorifying to God. We deem that our mission of education is to raise up graduates of virtue, possessing knowledge and wisdom that will enable our students to exhibit the greatest of their gifts which almighty God has bestowed upon them. We share in the vision of Christ our king as seated above all else on the highest of thrones, and we desire to prepare our children for His final return. This preparation can only be done by nurturing the deepest of loves for learning about Him, His creation, and His plan for His children.
