Today’s field trip found us at Martin Park Nature Center!
We hiked, visited the visitor center, climbed the watchtower and played on the playground!

🐣Happy Easter! He is risen!!
We were blessed with an Easter egg hunt and party Friday from the Women’s Auxiliary!
Thank you, ladies for helping us celebrate.
❄️✨ STEAM Activities ROCK! Yesterday’s science activity was a hit! We built marshmallow snowflakes using toothpicks, and the kids dove right into experimenting with shapes, structures, and creative problem‑solving.
They quickly learned that poking the toothpick through the center of the marshmallow makes all the difference in stability. And adding a hexagon around the center? Total game‑changer for strength — because STEAM thinking is all about testing ideas and discovering what works!
We even explored a little math magic—like spacing 6 points evenly and figuring out how many mini marshmallows we’d need for 2 on each point. So many discoveries packed into one sweet activity 🍬🧠
