Our little gardeners have been hard at work! 🌱🤍
Over the past few weeks, our kiddos have been caring for their very own plants that they planted themselves. Our younger friends have been using this as a fun way to practice fine motor skills, while our older kiddos have been observing, drawing, and writing in their daily plant journals to track each little change and bit of growth.
We love watching them learn, care, and grow right alongside their plants! 🌿✨

Dear Pathways Families,
We know some families may be affected by the delay in food stamp distribution this November. To help, Pathways CDC will be preparing extra food at lunch so we can send to-go plates home for those who need them.
Please don’t feel bad about accepting this help! We’re one family here, and we’re happy to support one another. 💛
Our fridge space is limited, so we’ll only have a certain number of plates available each day. If your family would like a take-home plate, please fill out the Google Form so we can have it ready for you at pickup.

Sabemos que algunas familias pueden verse afectadas por el retraso en la distribución de los beneficios de alimentos (food stamps) este mes de noviembre. Para ayudar, Pathways CDC preparará comida extra durante el almuerzo para poder enviar platos para llevar a casa para quienes lo necesiten.
Por favor, no se sientan mal por aceptar esta ayuda. Somos una familia y estamos aquí para apoyarnos mutuamente. 💛
Nuestro espacio en el refrigerador es limitado, así que solo tendremos una cierta cantidad de platos disponibles cada día. Si su familia desea recibir un plato para llevar, por favor complete el formulario de Google para que podamos tenerlo listo a la hora de recoger a su hijo/a.

🎉 We Did It! We’re so proud to share that Pathways Child Development Center is officially NECPA Accredited! 🏆
For those unfamiliar, the NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation) process is a rigorous, research-based evaluation that ensures child care programs meet the highest standards in safety, curriculum, teacher-child interaction, and overall quality.
This was our first time ever going through the accreditation process, something that typically takes about a year and a half, but our timeline was cut down to just six months by the State of Oklahoma (not by choice!).
While administration worked tirelessly to meet every requirement, our amazing teachers had an even shorter window to prepare their classrooms and welcome an NECPA observer who spent a full day watching their daily routines and interactions with our kiddos and they absolutely rose to the challenge! Their dedication, love, and professionalism shined through every moment. ❤️
This achievement marks a huge milestone for our team and for the quality of care we provide every single day. 💛

🎉 OKC Thunder Championship Parade – Center Closed Tuesday, June 24th 🏀
Dear Pathways Families,
We are thrilled to join our city in celebrating the Oklahoma City Thunder’s historic NBA Finals victory! 🏆
To give our staff and families the opportunity to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, Pathways Child Development Center will be closed on Tuesday, June 24th for the championship parade.
Thank you for your understanding as we share in this exciting moment with our community. We will resume normal hours on Wednesday, June 25th.

We want to take a moment to thank all of our amazing parents for helping us make teacher appreciation week special for all our our amazing teachers! 🩷
Every single day our teachers show up ready to tackle a new adventure with our sweet kiddos. Even on the toughest days they show up with open hearts and helping hands to provide an environment where all of our kids can feel not only safe but also loved!
Words couldn’t explain how grateful we are to have such amazing teachers be a part of our team to help keep all of our tiny humans safe and happy 🫶🏽

Hi Friends, as many of you already know, I tore my ACL and had to have surgery to repair it. Unfortunately I won’t be able to play with you all for a few months. I’ll still see you as you come in and leave in the front lobby. Please be extra gentle with me so I can heal up quickly and get back to playing with you all.
