Services are rendered weekly at our chess education room. Current classes are Mondays from 1pm-2:15pm and Fridays 4:30pm-5:45pm. Additional class days and times to follow.

The Knight School Oklahoma City is an educational enrichment provider that develops higher-order thinking skills through professionally designed chess instruction. The Knight School Oklahoma City is wanting to find out if there is any interest with homeschoolers in the Edmond, North OKC, or The Village area that would like to learn chess the fun way! We normally provide training after-school at schools and Child care centers. But what if we had a place for the home-schoolers to attend, near Penn and Hefner. What day of the week and time frame (morning, midday, or afternoon) would get your interest?

Chess this weekend in Edmond!

This is not a tournament hosted by The Knight School but it is a local tournament… let’s turn out!

Now in its third year, CHATURANGA has proven to be our #1 summer tournament! This year's event promises to be the best yet, with friends from the India Association of Oklahoma and the Edmond Chess Club working together to make it a special day for our players.

New this year: Scholastic section
Kids rated 0–999 will have their own section this year.

Fun new location: The MAC at Mitch Park is adjacent to a beautiful 130-acre park with basketball courts, playgrounds, and trails.

It's all happening this Saturday, July 18. We hope you'll join us!

The Knight School Oklahoma City is now scheduling free demo classes for schools, preschools, aftercare programs, and child development centers for kids ages 3 to 15.

Chess coaches needed to instruct at schools, childcare development, centers, and aftercare programs in Edmond and North OKC. No experience needed. You do not have to be a chess pro to do this job. We train children from ages 3-15.

You must have reliable transportation.
You must be fun, silly yet maintain strict boundaries with the kids.
You must be able to carry yourself in a professional manner.
You must be punctual.

We will start training mid to late July in preparation for the fall start of the school year.
