After a 31-year career with OSSAA, Executive Director David Jackson will retire on June 30, 2027.

Throughout his time at OSSAA, his steady leadership and dedication to education-based activities have made a lasting impact on Oklahoma students, coaches, administrators and schools! Mr. Jackson will continue leading the association through the 2026–27 school year as the Board of Directors begins its search for OSSAA's next executive director.

Stop #2 of the Friday Night Lights Tour presented Gateway Banking / Mortgage is at Bartlesville High School this Friday!

The OSSAA and Gateway Banking / Mortgage are on the road for a Friday Night Lights tour this football season. In total, $7,000 will be donated to schools to support their athletic programs.

🚨 Rule Change Updates 🚨

As part of its ongoing review of the rulebook, the OSSAA Rules Review Committee proposed seven changes to four eligibility rules. All 484 OSSAA member schools had the opportunity to vote on the proposals, and all seven changes passed. The changes will take effect July 1, 2027.

Rules getting revised include:

• Scholastic eligibility (Rule 3, Section 1-A)
• Regaining eligibility (Rule 3, Section 1-B)
• Senior eligibility (Rule 3, Section 3-A)
• Summer school credit (Rule 3, Section 3-D)
• Student organization eligibility (Rule 4, Section 3)
• Dual residence (Rule 8, Section 7)
• Link Rule (Rule 24)
