As we wrap up the year, we wanted to share out some fun moment captured of our Saints on Super Kids Day !📸🎉

Good afternoon, SFS Shidler Families! 🦉💛

Please join us this afternoon from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM for "Popsicles with the Principal"! 🍦 Take this opportunity to meet Mrs. Cervantes, who will be joining our Shidler community as our principal! 👩‍🏫

This fun meet-and-greet will be held here at Shidler Elementary! Can't wait to see y'all there! 😊

SFS Shidler Families:

Shidler Elementary was placed on a brief lockdown this afternoon due to police activity in the surrounding neighborhood. The Oklahoma City Police Department responded quickly and has already issued an all-clear.

Our students and staff were never in any danger, and dismissal will proceed on schedule. Thank you for your patience and for helping us keep our kids safe.

La escuela primaria Shidler fue puesta bajo un breve cierre de emergencia (lockdown) esta tarde debido a actividad policial en el vecindario circundante. El Departamento de Policía de Oklahoma City respondió rápidamente y ya ha emitido una señal de "todo despejado".

Nuestros estudiantes y el personal nunca estuvieron en peligro, y la salida de clases procedará según el horario previsto. Gracias por su paciencia y por ayudarnos a mantener a nuestros niños seguros.

We will be hosting our mandatory Pre-K and Kindergarten Orientation for NEW incoming students on:

Here’s what you can expect from the evening:
1. Parent Meeting
Parents will begin with a brief logistics meeting where we will share important information about the 2026–2027 school year, including daily routines, expectations, and how to set your child up for success.

2. What You’ll Leave With
By the end of the evening, you will walk away with:
- Clear understanding of school logistics
- Personalized ideas to support your child’s success in school.

The Santa Fe South High School Student Council is officially searching for our 2026 BARK Week recipient!

BARK (Bringing Awareness & Raising Kindness) Week is our signature philanthropic effort. Led by our High School leaders, this week-long blitz rallies our entire community to support one local cause.

In recent years, our students have raised more than $100,000 for Oklahoma City nonprofits. This isn’t just a donation; it’s a week of high-energy leadership, community awareness, and a South OKC network supporting your mission.

If you are a local nonprofit making a difference, we want to hear from you. Are you ready to partner with passionate Saints ready to change lives? Apply by 6 p.m. March 22, 2026!
