We have news! At last night's regular meeting, the Metro Tech Board of Education named Jeremy Cowley as our district's new Deputy Superintendent! 🎉

Since joining Metro Tech in 2020, Mr. Cowley has served in several key leadership positions, including Associate Superintendent of Innovation and Knowledge Management, Senior Director of Student Affairs and Workforce Development, and more.

“Metro Tech has a long-standing tradition of transforming lives through innovative, high-quality career and technical education, and I am honored to continue serving Oklahoma City in this new role,” Cowley said. “Together, we will build on that legacy by creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen our workforce, and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.”

Cory Bobo, J'Sean Witten, and Messiah Cobbs took home the GOLD medal in the Community Service team competition, while Carlos Carreon, Joseph Langston-Fingers, Favian Rubio, and Andy Sac received the BRONZE medal in the Entrepreneurship team competition! 🏆️

After months of hard work and long nights, 45 ✨️resilient✨️ Practical Nursing students crossed the stage on Monday and officially became LPNs. 🎓🩺

A nursing pinning ceremony is one of the most meaningful traditions in nursing. This year's class chose to make that tradition even more special by inviting loved ones, mentors, and instructors of their choice to present their nursing pins on stage.

It was a powerful reminder that while each graduate earned this achievement through their own hard work, they were supported every step of the way by those who believed in them. 🩵

We couldn't be prouder, and have no doubt each graduate will go on to make a lasting difference in the lives of their patients and communities. Congratulations to all!
