Oklahoma City Community Foundation Scholarships
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation is home to more than 220 scholarship funds established by individuals, organizations and companies.
Through funds created by generous donors, OCCF has become the largest independent scholarship provider in Oklahoma, awarding more than $5 million to more than 1,000 students across the state each year. These funds share the common goal of helping to make a difference in the lives of others. The OCCF Scholarship page provides information about the scholarships we administer, as well as pertinent information for Oklahoma students looking to continue their education beyond high school.

At OCCF, we are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Bonnie Wood, a longtime counselor at Western Heights High School and a cherished member of OCCF’s Central Oklahoma High School Counselor Network.
OCCF’s scholarship program would not be a success without the hard work and dedication of high school counselors throughout the state.
Learn more about Bonnie Wood and her legacy at occf.org/celebrating-the-life-and-legacy-of-western-heights-counselor-bonnie-wood.

The impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s words and deeds resonated deeply in Oklahoma City. Inspired by his work, brave individuals like Clara Luper initiated sit-ins at local establishments, leading to the desegregation of many places years before the Civil Rights Act.
Let's celebrate, reflect & never stop pushing forward!

We had a great time hosting our Central Oklahoma High School Counselor Network (COHSCN) for a workshop offering essential insights into OCCF scholarships and procedures.
And, with Oklahoma City University providing the space through its Meinders School of Business, our counselors also received a campus tour highlighting OCU admissions, financial aid, and specialized academic programs to better support counselors in guiding students toward suitable educational pathways.
Counselors in our COHSCN play an integral role in introducing students in central Oklahoma to scholarships from various sources, not just OCCF. Our team recognizes this role and works with them to provide continuing education, networking opportunities and even COHSCN-specific scholarships that their students can apply to! Thank you to the educators from these 54 schools in central Oklahoma who have made a lasting commitment to the education of Oklahoma students.
